Saturday February 20, 2010 @ the Abingdon Fire Hall
Pack 936's Blue and Gold banquet is one of the highlights of our program year. The event this year is held at the Abingdon Fire Hall. It brings together our Pack's families for a dinner and an afternoon of fun. The meal is important, but even more important is the warm, congenial atmosphere created as families enjoy each others company.
This year's theme is Celebrating the Adventure

2009 Pack 936 Popcorn Sale
Hello Pack families,
The popcorn sales are just a fading memory now ... seems like it was a while ago. The Baltimore Area Council recently announced the 2009 popcorn winners. We are pleased to report that Pack 936 came in 2nd place in popcorn sales among all Harford County Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scout Troops!!!! This is a fantastic achievement and reflects a terrific job by all the scouts. This is our 2nd straight year placing in the top 3, so no doubt we are on a streak and have a standard to meet next year!
We would also like to congratulate and recognize the top sellers from our Pack who sold popcorn in excess of $1000.
Logan Rawson $1856.26
David Lewis $1675.94
John Moses $1332.88
Bryce Hare $1328.74
Austin Palmer $1107.19
Thanks for making the 2009 popcorn fundraiser a tremendous success!

Pack 936 Abingdon, Maryalnd. Welcome to our web-site! |
 |
|
 |
Cub Scout Pack 936 is located in Abingdon Maryland in the central part of Harford county.
Our Cub Scout program is part of the larger national organization of the Boy Scouts of America. The Pack leaders and parents of our pack are committed to providing a quality, family oriented , year-round program of Cub Scouting activities.
Our Pack was started in the early 1990's and has been serving the youth of our community for over 11 years. Our Pack is comprised of first grade through fifth grade boys. We have a diverse set of boys, from a variety of local public and private schools (Abingdon Elementary, Emmorton Elementary, Ring Factory Elementary, Trinity Lutheran, Mountain Christian, St. Paul’s Lutheran in Kingsville and home schooled boys as well).
Boys in the surrounding area; completing kindergarten or in 1st through 5th grade are welcome to join.
We are an active, caring group of families, dedicated to helping our sons grow in character, citizenship and faith. We firmly believe in the Scouting spirit, and the ideals of "fun with a purpose." You will find us not just at Pack or Den meetings, but on outings that promote the core values of Scouting; projects that serve our community; and activities that promote awareness of our responsibility and appreciation of the world around us.
Our hope is that each of our Scouts will continue to advance in the Scouting program not because of the badge of rank they may earn, but because of what they may learn about themselves, their families, others, God, and their country.
Our Pack meets the 4th Thursday of each month at New Covenant Presbyterian Church located at 128 St. Mary's Church Road Abingdon, Maryland.
